This is a premium, major error coin from the Denver Mint, featuring one of the most severe doubling errors reported on modern Shield Cents.
The doubling is dramatically visible on the reverse motto and shield elements.
EXTREME Doubled Die Reverse (DDR/QDR): The motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" shows clear, separated doubling and tripling/quadrupling, especially in the letters 'R', 'I', 'B', 'U', 'S', 'U', 'N', 'U', 'M'. This misalignment during the hubbing process is a top-tier variety error.
Struck-Through Debris (Obverse): A clear, thin, wavy, raised line (impression of debris) is present in the field below Lincoln's portrait.
Die Chip/Break: The letter 'C' in CENT shows clear die damage (chipping) on its lower loop.
